FAA DER Roundtable 2018

Please join us for a two-day FAA DER Roundtable event designed specifically for those who manage FAA drug and alcohol testing programs. This event will be hosted at Alaska Airlines in Seattle, WA and will be a great opportunity to network and discuss best practices with colleagues and industry experts. Attendees will consist of DERs from part 121/135 and 145 repair stations, among others. Each day will consist of panels and roundtables designed to inspire discussion and participation from the entire group. We hope to see you in Seattle on October 17 and 18 for what is sure to be an extremely beneficial and productive event!

Wednesday, October 17: 9am - 7pm

• Welcome/Intros
• Moving towards paperless records: eCCF, ATF, electronic signatures, electronic record keeping
• Ask the Medical Review Officer
• Lunch provided
• Reasonable Suspicion/Cause determinations and response
• State of drug testing today: toxicology and adulteration update

Thursday, October 18: 9am - 5pm

• Fitness for Duty: what to do after receiving safety notice concern
• Audit Prep: best practices, lessons learned
• Lunch provided
• Record Retention: what to keep, for how long
• Onsite Testing: badging, notifications, employee relations

All sessions will be held at the Alaska Airlines Flight Operations Training Center: 2651 S 192nd Street, SeaTac, WA 98188.
